Purpose: performance measurement

Time of Analysis: post mortem

Type of Analysis: various, general purpose

ParaGraph is a freely available parallel performance visualization system created at the University of Illinois. It is notable for its rich variety of visualizations, including utilization and task Gantt charts, time-space diagrams, animation displays, a wide variety of summaries, communication matrix displays, phase portraits, and more (see Related Methods for a partial list).

ParaGraph performs postmortem analysis on trace data collected using the PICL utility.

ParaGraph implements many (if not most) of the visualization schemes described here. You can find beautiful figures of many of these views in the Related Publications, and at web pages maintained by the Related Authors.
